Data not collected
Bison Brush LLC does not collect, receive, sell, rent, or use your StoryChat conversations, prompts, AI responses, drafts, generated post cards, device identifiers, precise location, contacts, photos, or usage activity. StoryChat AI has no developer-operated account system, analytics service, advertising service, tracking SDK, or cloud AI backend.
Information stored locally
The app stores conversations, drafts, generated post cards, preferences, installed-model state, and the remaining free-card allowance in the app’s local sandbox. This information supports offline use and reopening your work. Deleting the app removes sandboxed app data, subject to Apple’s backup and restore behavior.
On-device AI and model delivery
Chat and card generation use one device-appropriate Qwen3 model on your device: a standard 1.7B model or a compact 0.6B model. Apple delivers exactly one model pack through Managed Background Assets during setup; the pack is roughly 350 MB or 914 MB depending on the selected model. Your conversation text is not sent to Bison Brush LLC or a cloud AI service for generation.
Open-source model attribution
StoryChat AI uses open-weight Qwen3 models from the Qwen team at Alibaba Cloud. The model weights are provided under the Apache License 2.0. See the official Qwen3 release information for model details.
Free post cards
Each installation begins with three free successful post-card generations. Initial generations and alternate versions each use one credit only after a card is successfully saved. Failed or canceled attempts do not use a credit. Reinstalling resets the local allowance because StoryChat AI has no account or backend that can restore it.
Purchases
Apple processes StoryChat Pro subscriptions and any eligible introductory offers through StoreKit. Bison Brush LLC does not receive or store your full payment-card information. The app checks Apple transaction information to determine whether unlimited generation and regeneration should be available. Apple processes this information under Apple’s own privacy practices.
Photos and sharing
If you save a post card to Photos or use the system share sheet, the app uses those Apple-provided features only to complete the action you request. You choose where to send it; StoryChat AI does not automatically publish or manage social accounts. Bison Brush LLC does not receive the saved or shared card.
Your choices
- Edit or delete chats, drafts, and generated post cards in the app.
- Choose whether to save to Photos or share a post card.
- Manage or cancel StoryChat Pro through your App Store account settings.
- Delete the app to remove locally sandboxed StoryChat data, subject to Apple backups.
Children
StoryChat AI is rated for ages 13 and older and is not directed to children under 13. Because Bison Brush LLC does not collect app data, we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through StoryChat AI.
Changes
We may update this policy when the app’s behavior or legal requirements change. The updated date identifies the current version.
